The system \[ \begin{aligned} u_t & =\Delta u-\nabla\cdot(u\nabla v),\\ v_t & =\Delta v-vw,\\ w_t & =-\delta w+u, \end{aligned} \] is called the chemotaxis with indirect absorption/consumption of chemoattractant. The author proves that this system, supplemented with the homogeneous Neumann conditions for \(u\) and \(v\), has global in time solutions when considered either in two dimensional domains \(\Omega\) or for initial data such that \(\|v_0\|_\infty\le\frac{1}{3\,\operatorname{dim}(\Omega)}\).
