Stochastic simulations of two-dimensional composite packings (Q1372030): Difference between revisions

The authors design two stochastic procedures for computing equilibrium packages of two-dimensional rigid and flexible objects. The algorithms are relatively independent of the particular physical modelling of interactions between objects. Computational experiments are performed when the influence of external forces is described by a change of the placement area.
