The author considers mixed quasivariational inequalities. By using the auxiliary principle technique, he proposes a proximal method for solving these inequalities. The proof of convergence result is on the lines of the proof of the main result in [J. Optimization Theory Appl. 115, 447--452 (2002; Zbl 1033.49016)].
