A closed subset \(X\) of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) is of bounded turning \((BT)\) if there is \(c\geq 1\) such that any two points \(a,b\in X\) can be joined by a connected subset \(A\) of \(X\) with \(\text{dia} (A)\leq c|a-b |\). It is shown that there is \(c_0= c_0(n,c)\) such that any two points in a \(c-BT\) set \(X\) can be joined by an arc in \(X\) which is of \(c_0\)-bounded turning. The proof is technically complicated. The dependence of \(c_0\) and \(n\) is also essential.
