Let \(k\) be a field and \(A\) be a finitely generated connected algebra over \(k\). We define the Hilbert series, \(H_M(t)\), of a graded locally finite (left) \(A\)-module \(M\) by: \(H_M(t)=\sum_{i=-\infty}^{i=+\infty}(\dim_kM_i)t^i\in\mathbb{Z}[\![t,t^{-1}]\!]\). If \(\dim_k\text{Ext}_A^i(M,k)<\infty\) for all \(i\), then we define the Poincaré series of \(M\) by: \(P_A^M(t)=\sum_{i=0}^{i=+\infty}(\dim_k\text{Ext}_A^i(M,k))t^i\in\mathbb{Z}[\![t]\!]\). Let \(\mathbb{C}(t)\) be the field of the rational functions over the complex numbers. In this paper the author is interested in the following two properties on \(A\): (H) \(H_M(t)\in\mathbb{C}(t)\), for all finitely generated graded left \(A\)-modules \(M\). (P) \(P_A^M(t)\in\mathbb{C}(t)\), for all finitely generated graded left \(A\)-modules \(M\). The author studies a relationship between these two properties for Koszul connected algebras [see \textit{S. P. Smith}, CMS Conf. Proc. 19, 315-348 (1996; Zbl 0856.16009)].
