    Delayed diffusion equations of the form \[ \begin{multlined} {\partial u(t,x) \over\partial t} = \sum^n_{i,j=1} \alpha_{ij} (x)u(t,x) {\partial u(t,x) \over \partial x_i \partial x_j}+ \sum^n_{j=1} \beta_j(x) {\partial u(t,x) \over\partial x_j} +\\ +a(x) u(t,x)\left[ 1-b(x) u(t,x)- \int^0_{-r}u(t+ \theta, x) d_\theta \eta (\theta,x) \right] \end{multlined} \] \(t>0\), \(x\in\Omega\), with Dirichlet boundary conditions are considered and the global structure of the system is discovered. It is shown that if \(\lambda_0\) is a dominant eigenvalue of the operator \[ L=\sum^n_{i,j=1} \alpha_{ij} (x) {\partial \over \partial x_i \partial x_j} +\sum^n_{j=1} \beta_j(x) {\partial \over \partial x_j} +a \] then for \(\lambda_0 >0\), the system has a unique positive equilibrium \(U\) to which all solutions converge and if \(\lambda_0 \leq 0\), this equilibrium is zero. This is achieved by showing that the omega limit set of any solution is \(\{U\}\).
