The authors investigate the existence of solutions for a nonlinear fractional integro-differential equation involving two Caputo fractional derivatives of different orders and a Riemann Liouville integral subject to anti-periodic boundary conditions. The paper is structured as follows: first the authors provide background and some preliminary results, including an equivalence Lemma showing that the problem under consideration has an equivalent integral formulation. The remainder of the paper is devoted to deriving existence results under different assumptions, and giving examples of how these results apply in practice.
