The paper under review is aimed at a systematic construction of semi-infinite representations for the \(N = 2\) super-Virasoro (superconformal) algebra and, in part, for the affine Lie algebra \(\widehat{sl}(2)\) (Since the first of these algebras is not affine, it is of some particular interest.). The physical motivation for semi-infinite realizations of representations of these infinite-dimensional algebras are collective effects of a ``quasiparticle'' type (i.e., the representation space is filled by excitations of a Dirac sea of fermions or bosons (or anyons) satisfying some exclusion principle). In semi-infinite constructions, the representation space is generated by semi-infinite forms, or the products \(V^{(S_1)}_{\alpha_1}V^{(S_2)}_{\alpha_2}\dots V^{(S_n)}_{\alpha_n}\dots\), where the subscripts (``modes'') run through an infinite number of values, and the superscripts distinguish a finite number \((s_1,s_2,\dots\in \{1,2,\dots,M\})\) of ``types'' of elements. Assuming periodicity of the sequence \((s_i,\alpha_i)_{i\geq i_0}\) for some \(i_0\), an essential point is that semi-infinite forms are then considered modulo some identifications. More precicely, the problems solved in the present paper can be put into the following general scheme of semi-infinite constructions: i) choosing the elements whereby the space is generated and formulating a system of conditions on these elements; ii) counting the number of states remaining in each grade after imposing the conditions; iii) constructing an appropriate (monomial) basis in the semi-infinite space; iv) constructing the algebra action on semi-infinite forms built from the elements satisfying the chosen constraints, v) decomposing the semi-infinite space into a sum of representations of the basic algebra. Unfortunately, in all the formulae of the English translation the lines of the fractions are missing, and so the reader should also look into the original paper in Russian.
