The authors study traveling wave solutions of fifth order nonlinear evolution equations of the form \[ u_t+\alpha u^m u_x +\mu u_{xx}+\beta u_{xxx}+\nu u_{xxxx}+\delta u_{xxxxx}=0. \] Exact solutions are found and their classification is given.
