In this paper, the author gave an appropriate interpretation for \textit{E. P. Klement's} [Inf. Sci. 27, 211-220 (1982; Zbl 0514.60006)] modification of his original definition of the probability of a fuzzy event given in ibid. 18, 113-129 (1979; Zbl 0438.60006), and with it, provided an alternative definition which parallels Zadeh's work on the related topic of the cardinality of fuzzy subset. The author presented a representation of a probability associated with a fuzzy subset. The representation is a fuzzy subset of the unit interval, being defined by the intersection of an upper and lower bound on the probability of the fuzzy event.
