The paper is devoted to the multidimensional \(g\)-fraction which is a generalization of the continued \(g\)-fraction. This type of branched continued fractions is applied to the approximation function of many complex variables which expands to formal multiple power series in the neighborhood of zero. The problem of convergence of multidimensional \(g\)-fractions has been studied. Conditions of the expansion of \(N\)-multiple power series to the corresponding branched continued \(g\)-fractions have been established.
