This note is devoted to numerical and experimental results on synchronization of delay hyperchaotic oscillators with multiple positive Lyapunov exponents. The authors present both numerically and experimentally (using a specific example) that the first-order infinite-dimensional systems with multiple positive Lyapunov exponents can be synchronized via a single state variable. Synchronization is implemented either via linear control or via replacing the state variable in the nonlinear unit of the response system with the state variable from the drive unit.
