Predictor-corrector methods using block Runge-Kutta methods as correctors are constructed. Like conventional Runge-Kutta methods, these correctors compute stage values at non-uniformly distributed intermediate points. Comparison of an 8th order 5-processor predictor-corrector method using Radau points with the celebrated 8(7) Runge-Kutta method of \textit{P. J. Prince} and \textit{J. R. Dormand} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 7, 67-75 (1981; Zbl 0449.65048)] show speed-up factors from \(1.9\) to \(2.9\).
