The existence and upper semi-continuity of the global attractor for the following delay discrete Schrödinger equation \[ \begin{aligned} & i\dot u_n+(u_{n-1}-2u_n+u_{n+1})+i\lambda u_n-|u_n|^2\cdot u_n+f_n(u_{nt})=g_n,\quad t>0,\;n\in\mathbb Z,\\ & u_{n0}=u_n(0+s)=u_n(s)\quad s\in[-\nu,0],\;n\in\mathbb Z\end{aligned} \] is considered. Here the real parameter \(\lambda>0\) (\(\lambda=0\) and \(g_n=0\), \(n\in\mathbb Z\) corresponds to a conservative system), the delay term \(u_{nt}(s)=u_n(t+s)\) with \(t>0\) is a continuous function of \(s\), which maps the interval of delay time \([-\nu,0]\) to \(\mathbb C\) and \(\nu\) is a positive constant, \(f_n\in C(([-\nu,0],\mathbb C),\mathbb C)\) are continuous functions for all \(n\in\mathbb Z\), \(g_n\) are external excitations. It is shown that in some conditions the global attractor exists and its upper semi-continuity is proven.
