The authors consider the following competitive system with feedback controls \[ \begin{aligned} dx_i/dt &= x_i\Biggl[b_i(t)- \sum_{1\leq j\leq n} a_{ij}(t) x_j- \sum_{1\leq j\leq n,j\neq i} c_{ij}(t) x_ix_j- d_i(t) u_i\Biggr],\\ du_i/dt &= r_i(t) u_i+ f_i(t)x_i.\end{aligned} \] Here, \(x_i\) are the densities of the \(n\) competitive species and \(u_i\) the control variables. The coefficients of this system are assumed to be nonnegative almost-periodic functions, thus weakening the conditions imposed by most of the earlier investigators. The main result of the paper consists in establishing conditions on the coefficient functions that are not difficult to verify and which guarantee the existence of a unique positive almost-periodic and globally attractive solution of the system The proofs are based on comparison theorems and the construction of a suitable Lyapunov function. The results are applied to competitive systems with or without feedback controls that had been investigated in the literature. It turns out that a lot of previous research are improved and generalized by the present results.
