The authors study representations of locally compact quantum groups. The main theorem of the paper says that: (1) a certain map from the universal quantum group \(C^*\)-algebra to the reduced quantum group \(C^*\)-algebra is not injective; (2) the corresponding Hopf \(C^*\)-algebras are non-isomorphic; (3) the corresponding representation \(C^*\)-algebra has a unique trace. A draft of the paper is available at \url{https://arxiv.org/abs/1404.4133}.
