Consider the planar system \[ \dot x= y- F(x),\quad\dot y= -g(x).\tag{\(*\)} \] System \((*)\) is called Weierstrass integrable, if it admits a first integral or an inverse integrating factor which is a Weierstrass polynomial. The authors characterize system \((*)\) having a Weierstrass first integral or a Weierstrass inverse integrating factor of the form \[ H(x,y)= H_s(x) y^s+ H_{s-1}(x) y^{s-1}+\cdots+ H_1(x) y+ H_0(x). \]
