A weighted manifold \(M_f\) is a complete Riemannian manifold \(M\) endowed with a weight function \(f\in C^{\infty}(M)\), where the weight is given by the positive density \(e^{-f}d\,\mathrm{vol}_M\). A weighted manifold carries a generalized Ricci curvature \(\mathrm{Ric}_f=\mathrm{Ric}+\mathrm{Hess}(f)\). For isometrically immersed orientable hypersurfaces \(\Sigma\) in \(M_f\) one can consider the weighted area functional \(\mathrm{vol}_f(\Sigma)=\int_{\Sigma}e^{-f}d\,\mathrm{vol}_{\Sigma}\), and the critical points, the \(f\)-minimal hypersurfaces, have vanishing \(f\)-mean curvature \(H_f\). Imposing a growth rate on the \(f\)-volume of geodesic balls and assuming positive generalized Ricci curvature, the authors prove the non-existence of \(L_f\)-stable complete non-compact \(f\)-minimal hypersurfaces. A more refined non-existence result, involving the indices and other conditions, is also proved. Finally, two additional results assert finitely many ends for \(\Sigma\) under some curvature conditions.
