The authors consider a ferromagnetic material whose properties are defined by Maxwell's equations and a nonlinear Landau-Lifschitz equation and show that weak solutions exist. This is done by solving a relaxed system by the Galerkin process and allowing the parameter to tend to zero. They then show that all points of the \(\omega\)-limit of the trajectories are solutions of the stationary model and a quasistatic model is also discussed. The treatment is abstract and there is no discussion of any actual physical problem.
