In the paper, nonlinear neutral, nonautonomous, nonlocal impulsive, infinite-dimensional control systems defined in Banach space are considered. It is generally assumed that the admissible controls are unbounded and without delays. First, definition of global exact controllability in a given finite time interval is recalled. Next, existence and uniqueness of mild solution of the state equation are established. In the next part of the paper, sufficient conditions for global exact controllability in a given time interval and unbounded admissible controls is formulated and proved by using Sadovski's fixed-point theorem, Mönch's fixed-point theorem and results taken directly from linear and nonlinear functional analysis, especially theory of linear bounded semigroups in Banach spaces. These conditions require exact controllability in a given time interval of the associated linear abstract nonautonomous control system without delays in control and state variables. Theoretical results are illustrated by an example of exact controllability in a given time interval of a nonlinear impulsive partial functional differential control system with nonlocal conditions. Moreover, many remarks and comments on controllability problems both for nonlinear and linear infinite-dimensional dynamical systems with delays are also given. It should be pointed out that similar controllability problems for fractional dynamical systems have been recently considered in the paper by \textit{Z. Tai} [Appl. Math. Lett. 24, No. 12, 2158--2161 (2011; Zbl 1235.93046)].
