Hermite functions on compact Lie groups. II (Q1908095): Difference between revisions

The goal of this note is the same as that presented by the author in Part I of this paper [ibid. 125, 480-492 (1994; Zbl 0836.43016)]. The author announces this fact at the beginning of each of the two works mentioned; the introductions contain the same main ideas formulated in the same words. The basic result, Theorem A, of the present work is Theorem 1.1 of Part I; the way of working is the same and the intermediary results are similar, except a few changes concerning expressions or notations (see, for instance, Lemma B of the present note and Lemma 2.1 of Part I). Therefore, for a correct information on the problem of Hermite functions on compact Lie groups it is sufficient to see Part I or the present note.
