The structure of pan-operations is clarified. The authors show that the pan-integral coincides with the Pap \(g\)-integral [see \textit{E. Pap}, Zb. Rad., Prir.-Mat. Fak., Univ. Novom Sadu, Ser. Mat. 23, No. 1, 145-156 (1993; Zbl 0823.28011)] if the pan-operations are generated by a function \(g\).
