Uniform attractor for non-autonomous plate equation with a localized damping and a critical nonlinearity (Q2473973): Difference between revisions

The author considers the following non-autonomous plate equation with critical nonlinearity \[ \begin{gathered} u_{tt}+ a(x)u_t+ \Delta^2_x u+ f(u)= g(x,t),\quad x\in\Omega,\\ u|_{\partial\Omega}= {\partial\over\partial\nu} u= 0,\\ u(x,\tau)= u^0_\tau(x),\quad u_t(x,\tau)= u^1_\tau(x), \end{gathered} \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) with smooth boundary, \(\lambda> 0\). Under suitable assumptions on the data the author proves the existence of a uniform attractor in the phase space.
