We consider the asymptotic behavior of least energy solutions of a semilinear elliptic equation with nearly critical exponent. We show that the solutions concentrate at a global maximum point of the diagonal part of the regular part of the Green's function. This is done by obtaining the asymptotic expansion of the solutions up to the second order.
