In [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 23, 83-102 (1994; Zbl 0815.58027)], the author has developed an \(S^1\)-equivariant degree theory for potential compact vector fields and has applied it to extend the Rabinowitz's global bifurcation theorem. Applications to elliptic systems with an even number of equations to assure the unboundedness of a branch nontrivial solutions, are studied in this paper.
