Nonlinear boundary stabilization of an inhomogeneous and anisotropic thermoelasticity system (Q1972449): Difference between revisions

Recently, \textit{J. E. Munoz-Rivera} and \textit{M. de Lacerda Oliveira} [Bolletino U.M.I. 7, 11-A, 115-127 (1997)] had obtained a uniform stabilization result for linear boundary value problems describing inhomogeneous and anisotropic thermoelastic systems. In the present paper this result is generalized to the nonlinear case. To establish this result, the author perturbes energy functional introduced by \textit{V. Komornik} and \textit{E. Zuazua} [J. Math. Pures Appl., IX Ser. 69, No. 1, 33-54 (1990; Zbl 0699.93069)].
