C. Dong, H. Li, G. Mason and S. P. Norton gave the decomposition of the Virasoro element of the vertex operator algebra associated with \(\sqrt{2} (A_l\)-lattice) into a direct sum of \(l+1\) mutually orthogonal conformal vectors, whose vertex operators generate the Virasoro algebra with different central charges. In this paper, the authors determine the decomposition of the lattice vertex operator algebra into the direct sum of irreducible modules of the subalgebra generated by these conformal vectors. Their results extend the one with \(l=2\) obtained by \textit{M. Kitazume, M. Miyamoto} and \textit{H. Yamada} [J. Algebra 223, 379-395 (2000; Zbl 0977.17025) (see below)].
