Simplifying an ordinary autonomous differential equation is possible by basically two different approaches: (i) eliminating higher-order Taylor coefficients of the right-hand side, or (ii) reducing its dimension. Approach (i) is e.g.\ the Hartman-Grobman theorem (continuous transformation) or the Poincaré normal form (smooth transformation). Both results were already extended to nonautonomous differential equations. Approach (ii), more precisely, a Taylor expansion of the reduced system on its center manifold, is the topic of this paper. The authors derive linear ODEs for the Taylor coefficients on the center manifold, or more generally any integral manifold, and show the existence of a unique bounded Lyapunov-Perron solution which then describes the time-varying Taylor coefficients of the Taylor expansion of the integral manifold in space variables. The results are applied to a nonautonomous perturbation of the Lorenz equation and to a traveling wave related equation.
