This paper presents a study of extrapolation methods for the numerical solution of implicit differential equations in which the solution derivative occurs as multiplied by a solution-dependent singular matrix. The methods are based on certain variants of linearly implicit Euler discretizations; their error behavior is discussed via perturbed asymptotic expansions.
