The authors study the unsteady viscous incompressible flow with heat transfer of an electrically conducting fluid in the stagnation region of a continuously moving surface when both the surface and free stream velocities increase arbitrary with time and they move either in the same direction or in opposite direction. The magnetic field is applied normal to the surface. A semi-similar solution of unsteady Navier-Stokes equations and energy equation which includes the magnetic field is obtained. It is shown that a self-similar solution exists when the free stream velocity, surface velocity and magnetic field square vary inversely as a linear function of time.
