The author defines the Stieltjes functions by using Ramanujan's summation [\textit{B. Candelpergher, M. A. Coppo} and \textit{E. Delabaere}, Enseign. Math., II. Sér. 43, 93-132 (1997; Zbl 0884.40008)]. From this definition he derives new and classical expressions of the Stieltjes constants, which take place in the Laurent expansion of the Riemann zeta-function at pole~1.
