Global well-posedness for axisymmetric Boussinesq system with horizontal viscosity (Q2452031): Difference between revisions

The \(n\)-dimensional Boussinesq system has great applications in the dynamics of the ocean and of the atmosphere. This paper is concerned with the three-dimensional axisymmetric Boussinesq system with horizontal viscosity. Previously, Hmidi and Rousset proved the global well-posedness for the three-dimensional axisymmetric Navier-Stokes-Boussinesq system. In the present paper it is shown that the three-dimensional axisymmetric Boussinesq system admits a unique global solution with certain specifications.
