For the ordinary differential system \[ (-i)^r u^{(r)}= f,\quad u^{(j)}(0)= u^{(j)}(1),\quad 0\leq j\leq r-1,\tag{\(*\)} \] the authors show that Green's function \(k_r(x,y)\) to \((*)\) is essentially the Bernoulli polynomial \(B_r(x-y)\) for \(x> y\). Similar type formulas analogous to \((*)\) lead to Green's functions in terms of Euler polynomials. Consequences of these representations are presented.
