In many-particles systems, the mean-field method consists of working as if any considered particle were subject to an average potential generated by the particle density. In this way of thought, the paper proposes a new method to deal with singular interaction potentials. One uses the Schwinger-Dyson expansion to construct the Heisenberg-picture dynamics of particle operators, and then the so-called Kato smoothing, together with graph counting via combinatorial estimates, will provide various results mainly on the thermodynamic convergence of the iterative solution to that of the Hartree equation. The method is more especially suitable to deal with singular interaction potential.
