The authors study the existence of solutions to a system of nonlinear mixed type implicit impulsive integro-differential equations in Banach spaces. For this purpose, a monotone iterative technique and lower and upper solutions are used. Furthermore, under wide monotonicity conditions and using noncompactness measure conditions, they obtain the existence of extremal solutions and a unique solution between lower and upper solutions. At the end of the paper, the theoretical results are applied to an illustrative example.
