Sturm-Liouville equations are considered on a star graph having three edges together with the standard matching conditions and Dirichlet boundary conditions. Denote by \(\{\lambda_j\}\) the spectrum of this boundary value problem, and by \(\{\mu_{ij}\},\; i=1,2,3,\) the spectra of the Dirichlet problems on the interval \((0,1)\) for each separate edge (i.e. not on the graph). The inverse problem (A) of recovering the potential from the given 4 spectra is considered under the not natural a priori condition of separation of the spectra. Usually this condition is not fulfilled. In general case such statement of the problem is not correct. The inverse problem (A) is reduced to the classical inverse problems on the interval \((0,1).\) For the inverse problem (A) a numerical solution is discussed, and numerical examples are given.
