Grassmannian varieties are classical varieties that are intensively investigated. In [\textit{B. N. Cooperstein} et al., Adv. Geom. 5, No.~1, 15--36 (2005; Zbl 1074.51005)], the \(k\)-Grassmannian \(\Gamma\) of a projective \(n\)-space was investigated. The question was investigated whether a subspace \(S\) that is isomorphic to the \(l\)-Grassmannian of a projective \(m\)-space is necessarily parabolic. The similar question was investigated in [\textit{B. N. Cooperstein}, Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. - Simon Stevin 12, No.~5, 719--725 (2005; Zbl 1139.51006)] for \(\Gamma\) equal to the symplectic \(k\)-Grassmannian. Here, this sequence of investigations is continued by letting \(\Gamma\) be the \(k\)-Grassmannian of an almost arbitrary polar space of finite rank. The main result of this article is that in the cases studied in this article, not all Grassmannian subspaces are parabolic, but the number of exceptions is small.
