The paper contains the analysis of the decay laws of momentumless swirled wakes. Reynolds equations closed by means of the Launder-Jones two- parameter model of turbulence have been used to describe the evolution of swirled axisymmetric wakes. By appropriate transformations, the problem has been converted to a nonlinear eigenvalue problem, which has been solved by a cut-and-try procedure. Investigations reveal the existence of two self-similar solutions. The results have been discussed and compared with experimental data of \textit{E. Naudascher} [J. Fluid Mech. 22, 625-656 (1965; Zbl 0129.205)].
