A new, compact derivation of the state-space formulas of the \(H_\infty\) sampled-data control system is presented. It is based on the continuous-time lifting. Some modification for numerical robustness within MATLAB is presented, too. An interesting example of a system with an unstable mode, unobservable from the controlled output is worked out.
