Performance analysis of a finite-buffer discrete-time queue with bulk arrival, bulk service and vacations (Q1772857): Difference between revisions

For a finite-buffer bulk arrival and bulk service \(\text{Geo}^X / G^Y /1/ K+B\) queue with multiple vacations, the authors obtain steady state probabilities, moments of the system size, loss probability and mean delay at departure, random and arrival epochs. These measures are shown to be numerically stable. Exisiting models can be deduced from this system which is useful in high speed telecommunication.
