    Der Autor untersucht Intervallerweiterungen \(F(Z)\) für komplexe rationale Funktionen \(f(z)=p(z)/q(z)\) (\(p(z)\) und \(q(z)\) sind Polynome) mit Hilfe kreisförmiger zentrischer Formen. Bezeichnen \(Z:=\{z| | z-c| \leq \rho\}\) einen Kreis und \(\tilde f(Z):=\{f(z)| z\in Z\}\) den Wertevorrat auf dem Kreis, so gilt \(\tilde f(Z)\subseteq F(Z)\). Mit Hilfe von Intervallerweiterungen bzw. zentrischen Formen \(P(Z)\) und \(Q(Z)\) für die einzelnen Polynome erhält er \(F(Z)=P(Z)/Q(Z)\) und nennt diese Erweiterungen semi-zentrische Formen. Als nächstes leitet er zentrische Formen 1. und höherer Ordnung \(F_ k(Z)\) analog den zentrischen Formen höherer Ordnung für reelle rationale Funktionen von \textit{H. Ratschek} [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 17, 656-662 (1980; Zbl 0456.65019)] her, und beweist, daß \~f(Z)\(\subseteq F_ 1(Z)\subseteq...\subseteq F_ k(Z)\subseteq F_{k+1}(Z)\) gilt. Außerdem wird die quadratische Konvergenz eines Pseudo-Abstands \(d(W,F_ 1(Z))=O(\rho^ 2)\) bewiesen; dabei bezeichnet W den kleinsten Kreis, welcher \(\tilde f(Z)\) enthält. Die Berechnung von \(F_ k(Z)\) wird an 5 Beispielen für verschiedene k erprobt.
