The author investigates oscillatory properties of solutions of the Liénard type differential equation \[ \ddot u + f(t,u) \dot u + g(t,u)=0, \quad t\in [t_0,\infty) \tag{*} \] under natural restrictions on the functions \(f\) and \(g\). Using some results from the previous author's paper published in [Math. Comput. Simul. 76, No. 1--3, 82--85 (2007; Zbl 1153.34330)], additional conditions on the functions \(f,g\) are given which guarantee that all nontrivial solutions of (*) are oscillatory with the same oscillatory time. An estimate for this oscillatory time is given as well. The results of the paper are interesting and are related to several other results on oscillation of solutions of Liénard type differential equations.
