Summary: Based on soft sets and \(\mathcal N\)-structures, the notion of (closed) \(\mathcal N\)-ideal over a BCI-algebra is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Relations between \(\mathcal N\)-BCI-algebras and \(\mathcal N\)-ideals are established. Characterizations of a (closed) \(\mathcal N\)-ideal over a BCI-algebra are provided. Conditions for an \(\mathcal N\)-ideal to be an \(\mathcal N\)-BCI-algebra are considered.
