Convexity and solvability for compactly supported radial basis functions with different shapes (Q2355488): Difference between revisions

This article contains results about shapes (in particular, convexity and more precisely local convexity) of approximants using radial basis functions of compact support. This is also related to algebraic properties of the interpolation linear system that is to solve when the radial basis interpolants are computed. Some numerical experiments and algorithms are included as well.
