Homogeneous deformations of discrete groups. (Q1400873): Difference between revisions

The author continues his study of deformations of discrete multivalued groups [see \textit{P. V. Yagodovskij}, Usp. Mat. Nauk 52, No. 3, 179-180 (1997; Zbl 0918.16025)]. Related to the multivalued groups see, for example, \textit{V. M. Bukhshtaber} and \textit{E. G. Rees} [Transform. Groups 2, No. 4, 325-349 (1997; Zbl 0891.20044) and Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, Kluwer Academic Publishers. Math. Appl., Dordr. 433, 85-107 (1998; Zbl 0903.20039)]. The paper focuses on linear deformations, some basic results on linear deformations are presented. The main result is a theorem which gives necessary and sufficient conditions for which a 2-cocycle and an element determine a homogeneous deformation of a finite Abelian group.
