The linear initial-boundary value problem arising in analysis of free boundary flow is studied in the paper. The vector field \(v(x,t)\) and scalar functions \(p(x,t)\), \(\rho(x,t)\) satisfy to the equations \[ \begin{cases} \frac{\partial v}{\partial t}-\nu\Delta v+\nabla p=f,\quad \text{div}\,v=h,\quad x\in \Omega,\;t>0\\ ( T(v,p)n(x)+\sigma n(x)\mathcal{L}\rho=d(x,t) ,\quad x\in \partial\Omega,\;t>0\\ \frac{\partial \rho}{\partial t}+V(x)\cdot\nabla_\tau \rho -v(x,t)\cdot n(x)=g(x,t),\quad x\in \partial\Omega,\;t>0\\ v(x,0)=v_0(x),\quad \rho(x,0)=\rho_0(x),\quad x\in \Omega. \end{cases} \] Here, \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^3\) is a bounded domain with smooth boundary, \(T(v,p)\) is the stress tensor, \(n(x)\) is the unit outward normal to \(\partial\Omega\), \(\nu\) and \(\sigma\) are positive constants, \[ \mathcal{L}\rho=-\Delta_{\partial\Omega}\rho+b(x)\rho, \] where \(\Delta_{\partial\Omega}\) is the Laplace-Beltrami operator on \(\partial\Omega\) and \(b(x)\) is a smooth function. \(V(x)\) is a given vector field defined on \(\partial\Omega\), \(\nabla_\tau\) is the tangential part of the gradient, \(f\), \(h\), \(d\), \(g\), \(v_0\), \(\rho_0\) are given functions. It is proved that the problem has a unique solution \((v,p,\rho)\) in Sobolev-Slobodetskii spaces. The proof is based on the representation of solution to the model problem in a half-space and on the theorem of Fourier multipliers in \(L_p\) spaces.
