    The authors consider the family of birational maps, denoted by \(k_F\), for an arbitrary polynomial \(F_a(w) = a_0 + a_1 w + \dots + a_N w^N\), where \(a=(a_0, a_1, + \dots + a_N) \in \mathbb C^{N + 1}\). The authors determine the degree complexity for all elements of the family \(k_F\) which was introduced and studied by \textit{E. Bedford, K. Kim, T. T. Truong, N. Abarenkova} and \textit{J.-M. Maillard} [Math. Phys. Anal. Geom. 11, No. 1, 53--71 (2008; Zbl 1153.37387)].
