A weighted estimator of conditional hazard rate is proposed for survival analysis in medical follow-up studies. Asymptotic normality of the proposed weighted estimators which permit to built a confidence interval for the conditional hazard rate is proved. A simulation study is presented. In previous studies [J. Stat. Comput. Simulation 81, No. 11, 1517--1531 (2011; Zbl 1327.62190)], \textit{D. Bagkavos} proposed the local linear estimator of the hazard rate.
