For a given a Laurent polynomial with complex coefficients \(f\) in \(r\) variables and a complex number \(s\), the author introduces zeta Mahler measure by the formula \[ Z(s,f):=\int_{0}^{1} \dots \int_{0}^{1} |f(e^{2\pi i t_1},\dots,e^{2\pi i t_r})| dt_1 \dots dt_r, \] so that \[ \frac{dZ}{ds}(0,f)=m(f), \] where \(m(f)\) is a usual logarithmic Mahler measure. The paper is devoted to the study of \(Z(s,f)\). For a linear polynomial in one variable \(f(x)=x+a\) the author shows that when \(|a|=1\) and \(\Re(s)>-1\) one has \[ Z(s,f)=2^s \pi^{-1/2} \frac{\Gamma((s+1)/2)}{\Gamma(s/2+1)}, \] and when \(|a| \neq 1\) and \(s\) is any complex number one has \[ Z(s,f)=(|a|^2+1)^{s/2} F(-s/4,-s/4+1/2;1;(2|a|/(|a|^2+1))^2), \] where \(F(\alpha,\beta;\gamma;z)\) is the hypergeometric function \(\sum_{n=0}^{\infty} \frac{(\alpha)_n (\beta)_n z^n}{(\gamma)_n n!}\). Among other results, for \(|k|>4\) the author also computes \(Z(s,f)\) for the Laurent polynomial in two variables \(f(x,y)=x+x^{-1}+y+y^{-1}+k\).
