The Hardy-Littlewood theorem says that if \(f(z) =u(z) +i v(z)\) is an analytic function of the unit disk \(D\) and if \(u \) is a member in the Lipschitz class \( \Lambda^{\alpha}(D)\,,\) then so is \(v\) (and, consequently, also \(f.\)) The author proved in [Acta Math. 178, No. 2, 143--167 (1997; Zbl 0898.30040)] that \(| f| \in \Lambda^{\alpha}(D)\) if and only if \(f \in \Lambda^{\alpha}(D) .\) He also extended this last fact for the case of a general modulus of continuity, \(\omega\) satisfying an integral condition (the earlier result is the special case \(\omega(t) = c t^{\alpha} \).) In the present paper the author carries out a next step in this research program and studies the case of quasiregular maps. The author also obtains a version of the Hardy-Littlewood theorem for subharmonic functions.
